Course Descriptions
Watercolour Painting
Teaches children to use a step-by-step method to structure paintings. Students can learn to draw scenery and other objects depending on their level of knowledge.
Sketching
This is a class to teach the foundation of drawing. Beginning with simple shapes like spheres and cubes, students learn how to use different grades of pencils to render light and shadow. As their skills develop, they will begin to learn to draw still life, figures and facial expressions.
Chinese Painting
Using the Ling Nam style of teaching, students can learn the basic theory of Chinese Painting. They will learn how to hold the brush, use the colours and inks to draw different types of flowers, birds, insects and many others.
Oil Painting
Usually, adults learn this type of painting but children can produce some unexpected results too. Students learn techniques to use oils to draw many different types of drawings. This course will inspire children to further their knowledge in this traditional form of art.
